Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Field Biologist to support our research projects in Basingstoke. The successful candidate will conduct field studies, collect samples, and analyse data to enhance our understanding of local ecosystems. Your efforts will be pivotal in guiding conservation strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement field research protocols to study various ecosystems.
  • Collect and analyse ecological data using statistical software.
  • Assist in the preparation of grant proposals for funding conservation projects.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and interns.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including governmental agencies and NGOs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Ecology, or related field
  • Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of fieldwork experience in ecological studies or environmental projects
