Job Description

As an Occupational Medicine Physician, you will play a critical role in safeguarding employee health and workplace safety. Your responsibilities will involve evaluating and treating work-related health issues, providing preventive care, and developing health policies tailored to organisational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct occupational health assessments and medical history reviews.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage work-related illnesses and injuries.
  • Develop tailored health programs to meet the needs of the workforce.
  • Advise on workplace modifications to enhance employee well-being.
  • Engage in multi-disciplinary team discussions to improve health outcomes.
  • Support initiatives aimed at reducing workplace hazards.
  • Keep abreast of developments in occupational health legislation and best practices.
  • Facilitate training sessions on workplace health and safety.
  • Provide expert advice on management of chronic work-related conditions.
  • Engage with employees to promote health and wellness initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Postgraduate qualifications in occupational health are an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in providing occupational health services.
