An opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Fly Maker, specialising in creating innovative and eye-catching flies for various purposes, catering to both amateur and professional anglers.

Responsibilities

• Design custom fly patterns tailored to various fishing conditions.
• Keep abreast of current fishing regulations and materials.
• Engage with clients to help them select the best flies for their needs.
• Assist in training new staff on fly tying techniques.
• Participate in workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in sourcing materials.
• Promote our range of flies through social media and fishing events.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in fly tying preferred

Experience

• Experience in customer service or sales is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Understanding of fly fishing techniques and equipment

Soft Skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Time management and organization skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• History of participating in fly tying competitions or events: Experience in competitions can showcase skills and creativity.
• Experience with online marketing and e-commerce: Beneficial for promoting and selling products online.
