Join our expanding team in Swansea as an Insurance Underwriter. You will review insurance applications and assess risks to help the company maintain profitability while ensuring our clients receive the best possible coverage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research on potential risks and claims.
• Utilise underwriting software and tools for accurate assessments.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information.
• Evaluate claims and policy adjustments as needed.
• Support risk management initiatives within the company.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss underwriting challenges and strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Professional underwriting qualifications preferred (like CII or equivalent)

Experience

• 4+ years of underwriting experience in insurance industry
