Job Description

As a Can Top Setter, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery to assemble can tops in a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality control to ensure efficient production.

Responsibilities

• Maintain consistent production line operation through efficient machinery use.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards through inspections.
• Support the continuous training and mentoring of junior staff.
• Collect and analyze data related to production performance.
• Assist in the implementation of new manufacturing processes.
• Work with the production team to meet targets and deadlines.
• Foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and quality.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational training is an advantage
• Experience with can top assembly is preferable

Experience

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred

Technical Skills

• Machinery maintenance
• Safety regulations

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving abilities
• Communication skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery: Hands-on experience in maintaining production line equipment.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles: Understanding of techniques to improve production efficiency.
