Job Description

The Advice Clerk will be responsible for providing high-quality advice and guidance to clients on a range of issues such as legal, financial, health, and education. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work under pressure, and have a passion for helping people.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering high-quality advice and support to clients.
  • Creating individualised client plans based on comprehensive assessments.
  • Staying updated with changes in legislation affecting clients.
  • Documenting interactions with clients clearly and promptly.
  • Engaging with other professionals to ensure holistic client support.
  • Participating in ongoing professional development and training.
  • Respecting client confidentiality at all times.
  • Contributing to the broader goals of the legal department.
  • Utilising IT systems for record management and client tracking.
  • Facilitating workshops and events for client education.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in social work or counselling is preferred
  • Any related professional qualification is a plus
Experience
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in a client-facing role.
