Job Description

The Janitor Custodian plays a vital role in ensuring cleanliness, order, and safety in assigned areas of the facility. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently while adhering to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning of floors, including buffing and waxing where required.
• Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within designated time frames.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with staff and visitors.
• Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as directed.
• Participate in training sessions on health and safety regulations.
• Replenish stock of cleaning supplies and report shortages promptly.
• Assist in emergency cleaning situations as needed.
• Maintain high levels of physical stamina and manage time effectively.
• Support team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient working environment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior custodial experience is an asset but not essential.
