Job Description

As a Telecommunications Line Installer and Repairer, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of electrical and telecommunications cables across various projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cable installation, termination, and troubleshooting, ensuring that all tasks are performed in compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Install and terminate various types of telecommunications cables.
  • Conduct tests and troubleshoot any cable issues encountered.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations.
  • Interpret technical drawings accurately to guide installations.
  • Document all installations and repairs meticulously.
  • Work closely with colleagues to meet project deadlines.
  • Assist in training junior staff on installation techniques.
  • Provide assistance in network infrastructure upgrades.
  • Maintain tools and equipment to ensure reliability in performance.
  • Educate clients on cable systems and solutions available.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant electrical or telecommunications certification
