Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our team in Manchester. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with mental health conditions, ensuring a compassionate and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate care to patients experiencing mental health crises.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to inform treatment approaches.
  • Work collaboratively with family members and caregivers.
  • Engage in reflective practice to enhance personal and professional development.
  • Assist in the management of ward or unit environments for optimal patient safety.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and community activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions.
  • Support the implementation of organizational policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
  • Postgraduate experience in mental health nursing is advantageous
Experience
  • At least 2 years of mental health nursing experience in a clinical setting
