Job Description

We are looking for a diligent File Clerk to join our dedicated medical records coding team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and coding medical records accurately, ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical medical records.
  • Assist in the implementation of new coding systems and procedures.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive patient data.
  • Compile and generate reports as requested by management.
  • Provide training and support to new staff on coding practices.
  • Monitor and report discrepancies in medical records.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Medical Coding or Health Information Management
  • Experience in an administrative healthcare role is preferred
Experience
  • At least 2 years of coding experience in a healthcare setting.
