Job Description

As a Gate Person at Secure Access Ltd., you will play a vital role in maintaining security and ensuring a smooth flow of personnel and traffic. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, directing visitors, and providing assistance to maintain a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage access control systems, ensuring all entry and exit is logged appropriately.
• Monitor CCTV and other security systems for any irregularities.
• Provide guidance and information to guests and contractors.
• Conduct regular checks of the premises for security purposes.
• Facilitate smooth traffic flow while ensuring safety protocols are adhered to.
• Assist in creating reports related to security operations.
• Participate in training sessions for security protocols and emergency response.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role or security environment is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Communication devices
• Visitor management systems

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Interpersonal skills

Certifications

• SIA (Security Industry Authority) license for Security Guarding
• First Aid/CPR certification (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Understanding of conflict resolution techniques: Ability to de-escalate conflicts and manage difficult situations.
• Previous first aid training: Certification in first aid is a valuable asset.
