Job Description

As a Mental Health Social Worker, you will play a pivotal role in delivering essential mental health services to clients. You will assess needs, develop tailored support plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to help individuals overcome challenges and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial mental health screenings and ongoing assessments.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Design and implement community mental health initiatives.
  • Manage crisis situations effectively while providing immediate support.
  • Foster supportive relationships with clients to encourage rehabilitation.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans through feedback and outcomes.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of mental health laws and regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Psychology or Counseling
  • Relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in mental health roles
