Job Description

We are seeking a talented Automotive Designer to join our design team in East Kilbride. You will be at the forefront of creating innovative automotive designs while focusing on functionality and aesthetics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive design, proficiency with CAD software, and a passion for automotive technology.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models and prototypes of vehicle designs.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams to develop integrated solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in design.
• Assist in the preparation of marketing materials for new vehicle launches.
• Manage multiple design projects and deadlines efficiently.
• Engage in brainstorming sessions to foster creative ideas.
• Document all design processes and keep records of design revisions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Design, or related field
• Relevant professional certifications are preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of automotive design experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Design Software (CATIA, Rhino)
• Vehicle Dynamics Knowledge

Certifications

• Certified Automotive Designer (CAD)

Languages

• English: Fluent
