Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fur Matcher to enhance our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for matching and mixing various types of fur to create high-quality garments, ensuring that patterns align perfectly with design specifications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the design team to ensure every coat is crafted to perfection.
• Manage and source the best materials for fur production.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production progress and challenges.
• Supervise the preparation of fur materials before the garment-making process.
• Assist in training new team members on fur handling and matching techniques.

Requirements

Education

• NVQ Level 2 in Fashion Manufacturing or equivalent qualification

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year experience in fur matching or a similar role

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience handling exotic fur materials: Any exposure to rare or unique fur types will be beneficial.
• Knowledge of special finishing techniques: Experience with fur that has special treatments will be advantageous.
• Basic design skills: Experience in pattern making or garment construction is a plus.
