Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our lively Nottingham office. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and be adept in financial reporting, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and delivering accurate financial information to support decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and adherence to deadlines.
• Manage client relationships, providing expert advice on financial matters.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Identify trends in financial performance and present findings to management.
• Conduct risk assessments and suggest mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Relevant accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA) preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Accounting Software (e.g. Sage, QuickBooks)
• Financial Analysis

Certifications

• Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
