Job Description

We are seeking skilled Milling and Planing Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our dynamic team in Manchester. The ideal candidates will be responsible for operating and maintaining various profiling machines, ensuring that our production processes meet high quality and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and set up profiling machines according to specifications.
• Operate and maintain various metal and plastic cutting machines.
• Monitor the profiling process for precision and quality assurance.
• Identify and resolve mechanical issues promptly during operation.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and ensure cleanliness of work areas.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to mitigate risks.
• Work with colleagues to improve production methods and workflows.
• Record production metrics and analyze performance data.
• Engage in continuous improvement processes to enhance efficiency.
• Provide training and support for junior team members.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational training in machining is preferred

Experience

• 3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly with profiling machinery

• CNC Programming

Languages

• English: Fluent
