Job Description

The Internal Affairs Investigator role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with internal regulations and standards. You will be tasked with conducting thorough investigations into allegations of misconduct and ensuring the integrity of the agency's operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee investigations into misconduct complaints against personnel.
• Facilitate meetings with witnesses and collect statements.
• Implement corrective measures based on investigation outcomes.
• Maintain detailed and accurate investigation logs.
• Advise management on compliance issues and risk management.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor ongoing compliance with applicable internal policies.
• Assist in developing training programs related to compliance and ethics.
• Review and recommend improvements to investigation protocols.
• Engage in community outreach to enhance transparency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Law or Criminology

Experience

• 3+ years in internal investigations or regulatory compliance
