Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cybersecurity Risk Analyst to join our security team in Leeds. The ideal candidate will conduct risk assessments, analyze vulnerabilities, and implement security measures to protect our organization's data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and mitigate risks effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct ongoing risk assessments to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Lead incident response efforts and coordinate with external entities when necessary.
  • Draft and revise security policies, ensuring they remain up-to-date and relevant.
  • Collaborate with other departments to assess and enhance their security practices.
  • Monitor and review the organisation’s firewall and network security settings.
  • Keep abreast of new cybersecurity regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Facilitate security training sessions to educate employees on policies and threat awareness.
  • Assist in threat modelling and the development of security frameworks.
  • Review vendor contracts for security compliance.
  • Utilise threat intelligence feeds to enhance detection and response capabilities.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity
