Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Urban Development Officer to spearhead urban planning initiatives in Bath. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in urban design, with a focus on sustainability, community engagement, and policy development.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple urban development projects from conception to completion.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure project alignment and efficiency.
• Lead workshops and training sessions on urban planning practices.
• Develop strategies for effective public engagement in urban planning.
• Compile and analyse demographic data to inform planning decisions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Environmental Studies or related field
• Master's degree in Urban Planning or related field is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in community planning or related roles

• Sustainable Design Principles
• Stakeholder Engagement

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Certified Urban Planner (CUP)
• Sustainable Development Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
