Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Catshovel Driver to join our dynamic construction team. As a Catshovel Driver, you will operate heavy machinery to move materials, load and unload trucks, and perform various tasks at construction sites while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate catshovels to prepare job sites for construction activities.
  • Unload materials accurately to designated areas on-site.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance on machinery to enhance lifespan.
  • Conform to safety practices, minimising risks and hazards.
  • Assist in training new operators on machinery handling.
  • Collaborate with project managers to streamline operations effectively.
  • Keep detailed records of machine usage and maintenance.
  • Adhere strictly to waste management policies and recycling protocols.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating catshovels or similar heavy equipment.
