Penetration Tester

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Penetration Tester to join our dynamic security team. You will conduct thorough testing on our systems, pinpoint vulnerabilities, and work on proactive security strategies to bolster our defenses against cyber threats.

Responsibilities

• Execute red teaming exercises to simulate real-world attacks.
• Analyze and categorize security incidents and events.
• Provide training and awareness programs for staff regarding security best practices.
• Contribute to incident response efforts and assist in investigations.
• Lead or assist in the development of security testing methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Master's degree or relevant certification is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in cybersecurity roles with a focus on penetration testing

Technical Skills

• Web Application Security
• System Hardening Techniques

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Team Collaboration

Certifications

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash): Ability to automate tasks and improve testing processes through scripting.
• Experience with cloud security: Familiarity with securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
