Job Description

We are looking for a Retail Buyer to enhance our trading strategy in the Liverpool area. This role involves collaborating with merchandising and marketing teams to ensure our offerings meet consumer demands.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse market trends and forecast future buying needs.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
  • Select and purchase merchandise aligned with company strategies.
  • Monitor stock levels and adjust orders to avoid overstock or stock-outs.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and quality of goods to ensure standards.
  • Collaborate with inventory management to streamline supply chain processes.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and competitor analysis.
  • Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting for product categories.
  • Develop strong relationships with suppliers to enhance collaboration.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in retail buying or merchandising
