Responsibilities
Analyse market trends and forecast future buying needs.
Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
Select and purchase merchandise aligned with company strategies.
Monitor stock levels and adjust orders to avoid overstock or stock-outs.
Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies.
Evaluate supplier performance and quality of goods to ensure standards.
Collaborate with inventory management to streamline supply chain processes.
Stay updated with industry trends and competitor analysis.
Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting for product categories.
Develop strong relationships with suppliers to enhance collaboration.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field

3+ years of experience in retail buying or merchandising
