Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Weigher, Measurer, and Checker to join our committed team in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately measuring and recording baked goods, ensuring that our quality standards are consistently met.

Responsibilities

• Record measurements and daily inventory of baked goods.
• Communicate effectively with the production team regarding supply needs.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to hygiene practices.
• Utilise digital scales and recordkeeping software.
• Ensure quality control standards are met by conducting regular checks.
• Assist in the implementation of inventory management systems.
• Monitor expiry dates of baked goods and manage stock accordingly.
• Provide support during peak periods to ensure timely production.

Requirements

Education

• GCSEs in Maths and English

Experience

• Experience in a bakery environment or food industry is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Inventory Management Software
• Digital Scales Operation

• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Food Safety Regulations: Understanding of food handling and safety practices in a bakery environment.
• Ability to Lift 50 Pounds: Capability to handle and move boxes of baked goods and supplies.
