Network Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Network Engineer to join our team in Hastings. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure while ensuring optimal performance and security.

Responsibilities

• Conduct troubleshooting of network connectivity issues.
• Implement disaster recovery procedures for network systems.
• Work with vendors to procure network equipment and services.
• Participate in network capacity planning and demand forecasting.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures for network management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in a network engineering role

• Network Design
• IP Addressing and Subnetting

Certifications

• Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Networking Technologies

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of network automation tools: Experience with tools such as Ansible for managing network devices.
