Architect

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Architect to join our lively team in Manchester. The ideal candidate will possess strong design skills, along with the ability to manage projects from conception through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams through all design stages, from conception to execution.
• Engage in project meetings and represent the architectural team.
• Review and approve contractor submissions and shop drawings.
• Mentor junior architects and interns in design and project management.
• Compile project documentation for regulatory approvals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related discipline
• Master's degree in Architecture is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in architectural practice, including project management

Technical Skills

• Adobe Creative Suite
• Project Management Software

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Creativity

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional
• Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with landscape architecture: Skills in integrating landscape design with building architecture.
• Knowledge of historical building conservation: Expertise in preserving and restoring historical buildings.
