Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable IT Support Technician to join our Nottingham team. The successful candidate will provide first-line IT support and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems. A strong understanding of computer networks, hardware, and software is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and log support requests in the helpdesk system.
  • Assist with network troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Implement IT security protocols and best practices.
  • Provide user training and support for new systems.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions.
  • Assist in planning and deploying upgrades.
  • Help maintain an inventory of spare parts and supplies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles
