Farm Technician

Job Description

As a Farm Technician, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our farm in Weston-super-Mare. Your responsibilities will include working with crops and livestock, performing maintenance tasks, and supporting the overall efficiency of farm activities.

Responsibilities

• Support the cultivation and harvesting of diverse crops.
• Oversee livestock feeding schedules and veterinary care.
• Assist in the upkeep of farm buildings and infrastructure.
• Record daily farming operations and observations.
• Work alongside team members to promote a positive work environment.
• Participate in training sessions related to farming best practices.
• Contribute to health and safety assessments on the farm.

Requirements

Education

• GCSEs in Maths and English
• Relevant vocational qualification is an advantage

Experience

• Previous experience in agriculture or farming is desired but not essential.
