Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Pet Groomer to join our passionate team in Milton Keynes. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and experience in grooming a variety of breeds. Your role will include bathing, styling, and ensuring the well-being of pets in a fun and safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out grooming appointments in a timely manner.
• Educate pet owners about proper pet care and grooming routines.
• Monitor the health and behaviour of pets during appointments.
• Manage scheduling and bookings for grooming services.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Qualification in animal care or grooming is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in pet grooming

Technical Skills

• Grooming techniques
• Animal handling

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Customer service

Certifications

• Pet First Aid and CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with specific breeds: Specialised experience in grooming high-maintenance breeds.
• Knowledge of pet behaviour: Understanding of animal behaviour and psychology to ensure effective handling.
