Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Audio Engineer to join our dynamic team in Kilmarnock. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sound engineering, with a keen ear for detail and a passion for music. You will be involved in a variety of projects, ensuring high-quality audio solutions for various performances.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage sound for rehearsals and performances.
  • Conduct sound checks with artists to ensure sound quality meets expectations.
  • Edit and enhance audio recordings for promotional purposes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate sound with visual elements.
  • Respond quickly to any issues that arise during performances.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in audio technology.
  • Mentor junior sound engineers in best practices and techniques.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Music Production or related field
  • Relevant experience may substitute for formal education
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar audio engineering role
