Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Expediter to join our team. The role involves managing the timely delivery of parts and materials to meet production schedules. The successful candidate will have excellent coordination skills and a keen eye for accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the logistics for part deliveries and supplies.
  • Work closely with production planners to ensure timely supply.
  • Prepare reports on inventory usage and forecasts.
  • Train and guide new team members in inventory protocols.
  • Adhere to safety and compliance regulations in warehousing.
  • Track part returns and handle any issues that arise.
  • Communicate with external stakeholders to address questions or concerns.
  • Develop and optimise inventory management processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant degree preferred
  • Certifications in supply chain management are a plus.
Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles.
Technical Skills
  • ERP Systems
  • Microsoft Excel

Advantageous

  • Familiarity with customs and import/export regulations: Knowledge of regulations that may affect parts procurement.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software: Experience with tools that support inventory tracking and reporting.
