Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Ethics Compliance Lead to oversee and enhance our governance framework in Edinburgh. This role involves developing compliance strategies, ensuring adherence to regulations, and fostering an ethical culture within the organization. Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in compliance and regulations, along with exceptional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary expert on compliance and ethics matters.
  • Oversee the development of compliance training resources and materials.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel to address compliance concerns.
  • Participate in the development of risk management strategies.
  • Assess the effectiveness of compliance initiatives and recommend improvements.
  • Gather and analyse compliance data to inform decision-making.
  • Manage external audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Cultivate relationships with regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Master's degree in Compliance or Law is a plus

  • 2+ years of leadership experience in compliance roles
