Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Legal Counsel to join our growing team in Manchester. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive legal advice, manage contracts, and ensure compliance with legal regulations, contributing to our firm's success.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the contract management process and ensure adherence to company policies.
• Educate and train internal teams on legal compliance and best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of legal documents and correspondence.
• Assist in the preparation of reports for stakeholders on legal matters.
• Perform due diligence for business transactions and mergers.
• Participate in industry events to represent the firm's legal position.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB)
• Masters in Law (LLM) is advantageous

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in corporate law or compliance roles.

• Corporate Law Knowledge
• Regulatory Compliance

• Negotiation
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• CILEx qualification
• Compliance certifications are an advantage

Languages

• English: Fluent
