We are seeking a dedicated Crop Management Specialist located in Clacton-on-Sea, who is passionate about promoting sustainable farming practices. The role includes advising farmers on crop health, implementing management strategies, and utilising technology to enhance yields.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of crop conditions.
  • Develop tailored crop management strategies that enhance productivity.
  • Engage with farmers to provide hands-on support and training.
  • Implement monitoring systems for crop health and performance.
  • Assist in the development of community agricultural initiatives.
  • Monitor external factors such as weather, pests, and soil conditions.
  • Stay updated on the latest research in agricultural practices.
  • Provide recommendations based on data collected from field assessments.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Sciences or related discipline
Experience
  • Experience in a similar role preferred
