Wind Turbine Technician

Job Description

Are you passionate about sustainable energy? We are looking for a Wind Turbine Technician to support our operations in Coventry. This role involves hands-on work in maintaining wind turbines and ensuring they are operating at peak efficiency. A background in electrical engineering or a related field will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance schedules and report on turbine operations.
• Assist with the installation of new wind energy systems.
• Work in coordination with senior technicians to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain accurate records of service and maintenance activities.
• Ensure that tools and equipment are kept in good working condition.

Requirements

Education

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or similar qualification
• Relevant certifications (e.g., GWO) are an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in wind turbine maintenance or related field
