Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous Surgical Instruments Inspector with experience in ensuring the quality and safety of surgical instruments. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the condition of various surgical tools, thereby contributing to improved patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate surgical instruments for defects and compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct tests to ensure functionality and safety.
• Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot any issues identified.
• Maintain detailed inspection documentation for auditing purposes.
• Monitor the quality control processes and suggest enhancements.
• Train junior inspectors on inspection techniques and standards.
• Participate in quality assurance meetings to discuss findings.
• Assist in developing new inspection procedures.
• Ensure cleanliness and readiness of inspection equipment.
• Stay updated on industry standards and changes in regulations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in quality control or inspection is highly advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience in surgical instrument inspection

Technical Skills

• Quality control principles
• Measuring tools proficiency

Advantageous

• Experience with ISO 13485 standards: Knowledge of quality management systems for medical devices.
