Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Furnace Operator to join our dynamic production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in operating and maintaining glass furnaces, ensuring optimal performance and safety in the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient operation of the glass furnace, maintaining temperature and quality levels.
• Control the input of materials into the furnace to produce the desired glass type.
• Follow strict safety protocols and procedures during all operations.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of the equipment.
• Support warehouse operations by managing the flow of raw materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the work area to promote safety.
• Provide feedback on production metrics and help identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Relevant qualifications in health and safety are a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in operating glass furnaces

Technical Skills

• Heavy Machinery Operation
• Process Control Software

Languages

• English: Fluent
