Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team in Newcastle. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance standards, ensuring that our software products meet the highest quality standards before release. You will work closely with developers and project managers to identify issues and drive improvements throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document testing methodologies for various software products.
• Lead the testing efforts for new product releases.
• Coordinate with other departments for cross-functional project delivery.
• Utilise testing tools and software to improve testing efficiency.
• Mentor junior QA team members and provide training when necessary.
• Review and provide feedback on functional specifications and requirements.
• Participate in release planning and ensure quality metrics are established.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or similar
• Certifications in Automated Testing tools are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years in a QA role, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
