Reactor Fueling Supervisor

Job Description

As a Reactor Fueling Supervisor, you will manage the fueling operations of nuclear reactors, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and leading a skilled team of fueling technicians.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all operations related to fueling and refueling of nuclear reactors.
• Enforce compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Conduct training sessions for new and existing fueling technicians.
• Create fueling schedules and oversee their execution.
• Collaborate effectively with plant operations and engineering teams.
• Evaluate and improve fueling processes to enhance safety and efficiency.
• Document fueling processes and produce regular reports for management.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all relevant nuclear regulations.
• Participate in the development of safety drills and emergency procedures.
• Assist in audits and inspections by regulatory bodies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering or relevant field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• Prior experience in a supervisory role within nuclear operations
