Job Description
As a Reactor Fueling Supervisor, you will manage the fueling operations of nuclear reactors, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and leading a skilled team of fueling technicians.
Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all operations related to fueling and refueling of nuclear reactors.
Enforce compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
Conduct training sessions for new and existing fueling technicians.
Create fueling schedules and oversee their execution.
Collaborate effectively with plant operations and engineering teams.
Evaluate and improve fueling processes to enhance safety and efficiency.
Document fueling processes and produce regular reports for management.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all relevant nuclear regulations.
Participate in the development of safety drills and emergency procedures.
Assist in audits and inspections by regulatory bodies.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering or relevant field
Master's degree is a plus
Experience
Prior experience in a supervisory role within nuclear operations
