Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to join our Cardiff office. The successful candidate will work on a diverse range of projects, from residential buildings to large commercial structures, contributing to innovative and sustainable design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyse structures using relevant engineering software.
• Supervise construction execution to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Liaise with clients to discuss project requirements and provide updates.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Prepare cost estimates and timelines for project delivery.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and contracts.
• Engage with local authorities to ensure compliance with building regulations.
• Present design proposals and modifications to stakeholders.
• Integrate sustainable practices into engineering solutions.
• Monitor project progress and report on milestones.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
