Job Description

We’re on the lookout for a Computer Network Support Specialist to bolster our IT support team. The ideal candidate will possess strong networking skills and a keen problem-solving ability, enabling them to tackle a variety of technical issues efficiently. This role is integral in maintaining our network infrastructure and ensuring optimal performance.

Responsibilities

  • Implement network solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Work with vendors to procure network-related equipment.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies.
  • Ensure data integrity and backup of network systems.
  • Actively participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
  • Provide one-on-one support and training for users unfamiliar with network resources.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment by engaging with other team members.
  • Keep abreast of new networking technologies and trends.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Certifications in ITIL or similar frameworks will be beneficial.
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support roles
