Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Prop Sawyer to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, maintenance, and repair of props essential for our productions.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative and functional props based on designs provided by the production team.
• Ensure props are safely stored and well-maintained between productions.
• Develop new techniques for prop-making that enhance efficiency and quality of work.
• Participate in post-production evaluations to contribute insights for future projects.
• Support other members of the technical team in overall production efforts as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant qualification in Theatre Production or Design
• Experience in prop making or theatre production is preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of demonstrated experience in prop making or associated disciplines

Technical Skills

• Metalworking

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with special effects props: Hands-on experience in creating props for various effects.
