Job Description

As a Prestressed Concrete Labourer, you will play a key role in the production and installation of precast concrete components. Your responsibilities will include operating machinery, mixing and pouring concrete, and ensuring quality control throughout the process. Ideal candidates have good physical fitness and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Set up and clean work sites before and after operations.
• Help in assembling and cleaning moulds used for precast concrete.
• Conduct routine maintenance of machinery and tools.
• Track and record production data and issues.
• Collaborate with team members and report progress.
• Ensure all tasks are performed in a safe and efficient manner.
• Participate in training sessions for upskilling.
• Assist in lifting and moving heavy materials safely.
• Help foreman in the supervision of junior labourers.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used on-site.

Advantageous

• Previous experience working with concrete: Experience in handling and installing concrete products.
• Experience operating machinery: Familiarity with construction machinery such as cranes and forklifts.
