Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Officer to ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety throughout our organization. You will be responsible for assessing risks, conducting audits, and developing safety policies while collaborating with various departments to enhance workplace safety.

Responsibilities

  • Lead health and safety training programs for employees.
  • Assess workplace environments for potential health risks.
  • Manage incident reporting and data analysis to pinpoint trends.
  • Coordinate with external agencies for health and safety evaluations.
  • Develop and distribute safety-related communications and alerts.
  • Establish and monitor safety performance metrics.
  • Advocate for health and safety best practices across all levels.
  • Organize emergency drills and ensure all staff are prepared.
  • Foster a proactive approach to health and safety within the organisation.
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure compliance with health-related policies.

Requirements

Education
  • NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Master's in Occupational Health or related field preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in health and safety or a related field
