Job Description

As a Woodworking Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will play a crucial role in our production line, ensuring that all woodworking machinery is set up and operated efficiently. Your work will directly impact the quality and precision of our woodworking products.

Responsibilities

  • Configure woodworking machines to accommodate various product specifications.
  • Maintain thorough records of machine settings and production runs.
  • Assist in the development of new woodworking techniques and processes.
  • Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and coordinate repairs when necessary.
  • Adhere to environmental and sustainability practices in material usage.
  • Participate in regular training sessions on equipment and safety improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • NVQ or equivalent qualification in Carpentry or Woodworking
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a machine operation role within woodworking.
