We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Leeds. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and have hands-on experience with design and analysis tools. This role involves working on exciting projects that push the boundaries of engineering technology.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify designs using 3D modelling software.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to refine production techniques.
• Review and approve engineering and technical drawings.
• Conduct risk assessments for engineering solutions.
• Participate in product lifecycle management and documentation.
• Implement feedback from testing into future designs.
• Coordinate with testing labs and external partners.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mechanical engineering practices and innovations.
• Assist in budget preparation and control.
• Drive innovation by suggesting new methods and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Professional certification in engineering is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in the mechanical field
