Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to join our London team. You will be responsible for providing expert legal advice across various areas of law, including corporate governance, contracts, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial law, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on corporate governance matters and compliance issues.
  • Conduct training sessions on legal compliance for staff.
  • Review marketing materials to ensure compliance with advertising regulations.
  • Monitor changes in legislation that may affect the business.
  • Provide support in mergers and acquisitions transactions.
  • Engage with regulators on behalf of the company as needed.
  • Draft internal contracts and agreements for various departments.
  • Assist with intellectual property matters as required.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Law or related field
  • Qualified solicitor or barrister in the UK is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a legal role, preferably in corporate law
