Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Technician responsible for maintaining and repairing computer hardware systems, including servers, workstations, laptops, and peripherals. The successful candidate will ensure efficient operation and implement necessary software updates.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware components, including desktops, laptops, and servers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
  • Provide user support and training on new technology as needed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of hardware and software assets.
  • Assist in the setup of new workstations and hardware.
  • Manage IT support tickets and ensure timely response.
  • Conduct regular audits of hardware and systems for performance optimization.
  • Work with external suppliers for hardware repairs and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement best practices for hardware management.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and suggest hardware improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+ or equivalent
Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in hardware maintenance and repair
