Job Description

A Roller Turner is responsible for operating heavy machinery and turning rollers used in textile manufacturing. You will need to have a strong understanding of machinery and processes, ensuring workpieces are defect-free and meeting production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor the machinery processes for turning rollers.
• Calibrate equipment as needed to achieve desired specifications.
• Document production and quality assurance records.
• Assist in training new employees on equipment operation.
• Participate in safety audits and provide input for improvement.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in machining or related field is advantageous

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in manufacturing or construction setting

Technical Skills

• Heavy Machinery Operation
• Blueprint Interpretation

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• CNC Machining Experience: Familiarity with CNC machinery and programming is an asset.
