Job Description

Join our team as a Motor Electrician where your main duties will include the maintenance and repair of electrical systems in a variety of vehicles. You will be responsible for diagnosing faults and conducting repairs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and collaborating with other automotive professionals.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical diagnostics to identify and resolve issues in vehicle electrical systems.
• Repair and replace faulty electrical components, such as wiring, switches, and motors.
• Install and configure electrical accessories, such as alarms, audio systems, and GPS trackers.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of vehicle electrical systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards while performing electrical tasks.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve efficient and timely service delivery.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations.
• Stay updated with the latest automotive electrical technologies and advancements.
• Engage with customers to provide estimates and explain repair procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Valid Motor Vehicle Electrician or Automotive Electrician qualification/certification

Experience

• Prior experience working as a Motor Electrician or similar role in the automotive industry.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams
• Familiarity with vehicle wiring harnesses and connectors

Languages

• English: Fluent
