We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team in Cambridge. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in enhancing our cloud infrastructure and ensuring the reliability and availability of our applications. You will collaborate with software engineers and system administrators to automate and streamline operations and processes. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of DevOps practices and excellent problem-solving skills.

Job Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage container orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Create and manage scripts for automated server maintenance.
  • Enhance documentation related to infrastructure and processes.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies to integrate into our operations.
  • Establish disaster recovery and backup procedures.
  • Engage in proactive monitoring and incident response.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Master's degree in a relevant field preferred
  • AWS Expert in AWS services and architecture.
  • Docker Advanced skills in containerization using Docker.
  • Kubernetes Experience in managing container orchestration platforms.
  • Terraform Proficient in infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • Linux Extensive knowledge of Linux systems and administration.
  • CI/CD Tools Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Communication Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Teamwork Strong ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving Proficient in resolving technical challenges effectively.
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
  • Docker Certified Associate
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools: Experience with tools like Prometheus and Grafana for system monitoring.
  • Experience with ITIL frameworks: Understanding of ITIL best practices in service management.
